Commercial fishing gets
in the blood so it is not surprising that there have
been many second or third generation fishing families
on the British Columbia Coast. The father of fishseller.com
is the son of one of these fishing dynasties.
Anthony Herman and his
family were and still are well known on the BC coast
for their fishing skills, especially when it comes to
seining the tides of Upper Johnson Straits for sockeye
salmon. The favourite fishing spots of these fishermen
have always provided them with a challenge that was
met with tremendous amount of resolve, skill, courage
and tenacity.
