This is an early morning picture Lady-V fishing in the Johnson Straits.		Early morning set. Pumping herring during a large set in the Gulf of Georgia.


The net is being fleeted* aboard so that the herring inside the net can be pumped into the fish hold. *a strapping process where the net is brought aboard evenly in a continual operation over the previous fold		Unloading fish at the end of an opening. In the past, fish were unloaded manually, not by pumps as is the norm today.
